Platinum Sounds henceforth will be referred to
as talent and_____________________ will be referred to as client.
Talent will provide services negotiated with
client at time specified in contract.
Client
must provide at least one six foot table, and access to the facility where the
event is to be held one hour before the start of the event. Client must
provide adequate power supply in order for talent to perform. Client must
provide a safe environment free from any and all elements. (Sun, Rain, Wind,
etc.) Talent reserves the right to adjust disc jockey, as scheduling
demands.
Payment in full to talent is due two weeks prior
to the event date. Client may negotiate payment be made on the day of the
event. Client must make payment during the first hour of the contracted start
time of the event, in cash. Companies, schools, as well as non-profit
organizations can make payment by check on the day of the event, however, both
cash and check clients unable to make payment on the event date will forfeit
automatic discount totaling $150.00. A fee of $50.00 will be assessed on all
returned checks. Clients sent to collections will forfeit all discounts and
are responsible for all fees associated with said collections.
Talent is neither responsible nor liable for
failure to perform. (System Failure, Illness, Car Malfunction, Etc.) All
amounts paid on contracts will be refundable. Client is responsible for
any and all damages that are the result of an unsafe environment, or have been
inflicted by any of their guests, authorized or unauthorized. Talent
reserves the right to end the event in the case of an unsafe environment.

Talent reserves the right to tailor the music
according to the type of affair, flow of the occasion, and body language of
the crowd. In a school setting, talent will not play music
containing profane lyrics, language degrading women, or glorifying violence.
Talent will play only radio edits and music that has been re-mastered in the
Platinum Sounds Studios.
Cancellation of event with seven day written
notice entitles client to refund minus the deposit. If event is cancelled
after the seven days, client is responsible for all monies as it is too late
to re-schedule talent. At this point all monies are non-refundable. During the
month of December contracts cannot be cancelled upon execution.
